We remain open!

Following the Prime Minister’s most recent announcement, 04th January 2021, regarding new ‘national lockdown’ in England, we can confirm MEDICAL APPOINTMENTS are still permitted.

Therefore, our podiatry clinics remain OPEN and we continue to provide care/home visits to vulnerable patients.

According to the College of Podiatry:

Healthcare is not affected, meaning that podiatrists can continue to work. Podiatrists can continue with home visits and treating patients in nursing homes. Patients can still travel for their healthcare needs.

According to the news release from the Government:

You are permitted to leave home for:

Medical reasons:

– You can leave home for a medical reason, including to get a COVID-19 test, for medical appointments and emergencies.

Travel:

The list of reasons you can leave your home and area include, but are not limited to:

– visiting hospital, GP and other medical appointments or visits where you have had an accident or are concerned about your health.

Businesses and venues which can remain open:

medical and dental services

Public services:

The majority of public services will continue and you will be able to leave home to visit them.

These include:

The NHS and medical services like GPs and dentists.

To keep everyone safe;

  • Arrive on time for your appointment (not early or late)
  • Do not attend if you have any sign or symptoms of Covid-19
  • Wear a face mask
  • Wash your hands on arrival or use the hand sanitiser
  • Arrive alone where possible

For home visits;

As above but ensure the area is well ventilated
