Clinisept+ gently cleanses the skin to provide high levels of antimicrobial protection, containing no harsh chemicals it provides an ideal environment for rapid skin recovery.

Although its appearance is like water, it’s cleansing antimicrobial solution delivers incredibly high levels of hygiene without containing alcohol so it can be applied without any concern of stinging or irritation.

Recommended by our Podiatrists for patient use before, during and after podiatry treatment to minimise risk of contamination. Recommended for all post treatment recovery, daily foot hygiene and resolution of sore/irritated feet.

If you have been recommended to use Clinisept+ Aftercare by your Podiatrist or Chiropodist then follow their recommendations on usage. You may also wish to use Clinisept+ as part of your daily foot hygiene regime.

At home, we recommend that it is applied after showering or bathing by spraying directly onto the toes and feet. Once applied, either allow to dry naturally or wait for a minute and then wipe any excess off with a clean tissue or paper towel.

Clinisept+ Prep & Procedure, Clinisept+ Aftercare and Clinisept+ Podiatry use exactly the same chemistry, the only difference being the dispensers used.

WHY SHOULD YOU USE CLINISEPT+?

Clinisept+ has numerous benefits; Clinically, its highly effective for cleansing and providing antimicrobial protection, (both to patient and clinic staff).

However, Clinisept+ is also highly effective in reducing the appearance of redness and swelling, while providing a cooling sensation to treated skin.

When used following a procedure as an aftercare, Clinisept+ keeps treated areas clean and unencumbered from the contamination that inhibits skin health, resulting in high quality and rapid skin recovery.

Most cleansers intended for use on skin, are weak poisons. Whilst they can be effective at killing some pathogens, they also affect healthy skin cells and inhibit skin regeneration.

Clinisept+ is different because it uses an oxidising method of action which causes no harm to human skin, even to re-growing skin cells, while pathogens cannot become immune to it: Clinisept is not subject to antimicrobial resistance.

How it works:

Clinisept+ Podiatry is created in a unique process which converts sodium hypochlorite into a far more effective and yet safer hypochlorous chemistry. Hypochlorous is the same chemistry that powers the human immune system – it is produced by the white blood cells in the body and has many proven antimicrobial benefits. This chemistry is vastly different from traditional skin cleansers which use a toxic method of action to clean the skin. Clinisept+ uses an oxidising method of action which is more effective but is also noncytotoxic: it causes no harm to human skin, even to re-growing skin cells.
