Corns on Feet

Hard corns… or Heloma Durum (HD) as we like to refer to them can be extremely painful. They are the most common form of corn and appear as small concentrated areas of hard skin. over a bony prominence.  The photograph shows the corn after it had been ‘eneucleated’ by the podiatrist using a sterile surgical blade.

You can dry file corns using a foot file and soften them with a foot cream containing urea cream . Cushioned insoles help to ease the pain and can delay their return.
