Swift Verruca Treatment is ideal for stubborn verrucas and has almost 80% reported success rate.
The treatment microwaves penetrate to a depth of over 3.5 mm. The ‘beam’ emitted from the device has minimal damage to surrounding tissue.
Afterwards there is no dressing required or down time. Normal activities can continue, and you can drive home afterwards.

Our Musculoskeletal Specialist Podiatrist, Graeme Carter will evaluate your running or walking style alongside a full clinical examination to assess your foot and lower limb.
Graeme often provides a customised exercise regime and/or orthoses as required.

SURGICAL
Nail Surgery is the permanent solution for persistent painful or infected ingrown or fungal toenails under local anaesthetic.
Verrucae Needling is available if you suffer from painful, spreading or long term verrucae.
Corticosteroid Injections are available providing pain relief and reduction in inflammation relating to Plantar Fasciitis amongst other conditions.
A ‘First Appointment’ pre-op appointment is required before your surgery.

We understand not everyone will be able to attend a clinical appointment therefore we are able to offer home visits in and around all 3 Podiatry Clinics; Buxton. Bakewell and Chapel-en-le-Frith.
This includes North Derbyshire, Hope Valley and the High Peak area.
All of the Podiatrists are registered with the HCPC and CRB (now known as DBS) checked for your reassurance.

Qualified Podiatrists
As qualified Podiatrists we are foot experts in the medical care of your feet, assessing, diagnosing and treating foot and lower limb problems. Our range of services include nail care, corn, hard skin/callus removal, reduction of thickened/fungal nails, ingrown toenails, verruca, insole/orthoses prescription, footwear advice and Diabetic foot assessments. As qualified podiatrists we treat people with Diabetes, Arthritis and sporting injuries and of all ages from children with flat feet to the elderly with painful joints. You do not need a GP referral for private Podiatry treatment.
More than just a Pedicure…
The term Podiatry more accurately describes the profession and has replaced the name Chiropody. All Podiatrists must undertake 3 years of full-time training at a recognised University. Our Podiatrists are registered members of the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) and members of the professional body, The Royal College of Podiatry (MRCPod). We are qualified and licensed to use local anaesthetics for minor surgical procedures and for the use of certain medicines for treatment of infections and ailments.
